Part 2 of my story

Chapter 2

A few years later as the stories of Captain Blade fell into legend a small boy was born in the town of Oasis.  Oasis was a small town in the sixth kingdom.  This town was famous for its fish and pirate legacy.  The small boy grew up learning pirate tales and lots of sailing.  Soon he grew up and He and his two best friends bought a boat.  It was a small but fast ship with plenty of cargo space.  The small boy was known as Luke and his best friends Roland and Windhelm. Everyone called Roland Rolo but his parents of cause. Luke claimed the Title Captain because it was his idea and Windhelm got in quick with first mate leaving Rolo as cabin boy.

One day they had gone fishing for the fest of fish. “Come on fishy, fishy”, said Rolo peering off the edge with his Rod.  “Captain a ship” shouted Windhelm from the crow’s nest.  Luke looked out to sea to see a ship bearing the flag from the isles of kings.  As the ship got closer the flag was hoisted down and replaced with a pirate flag.  “PIRATES” shouted Windhelm at the top of his voice.  Before he could reach the deck the pirate ship had pulled up beside.  Before Rolo knew what was happening he was tied up beside the others.  The Captain of the pirate ship walked over and said, “AR ye just fishing’ Boys then”? “Because we only want to know where the crystal of ice is boyos.” The boys looked at one another and in unison said “What crystal?” The Captain turned and said “oh nothing, nothing.” He walked over to his first mate and whispered in his ear before shouting “All right boys grab the fish and let’s go.” The first mate walked over and knocked the boys out.

They woke up in the cabin and cut the rope with Rolo’s knife. “We better get back to town” Luke said.  When the boys reached the town the festival was almost ready. The boys rushed Captain Shaw’s house.  “As head of Oasis boys I can tell you that you will be raided by pirates once or twice but you will be fine” said Captain Shaw.  The boys said thanks and walked out and wandered why he just ignored the fact of the crystal.  As they walked out they bumped into Lady Scarlet. “I heard it all” she said looking over her shoulder “come with me quickly”.  As they walked behind her she started to speak again, “Come on you must take the crystal to Frostburg”.  “Captain Blade took the crystal from the mages and now Captain Blade has gone missing it is up for grabs that’s why the pirates wanted it”.  The boys followed Scarlet to her wing of the Captain’s court.  There she reached into an old wooden chest by the door and withdrew something covered in an old tattered rag.  She lifted the rag to reveal a beautiful blue and cyan crystal.      “This is it” she said “Take it and run as fast as you can you must reach the mountain in Frostburg GO”.

Here is a story I wrote.

The hunt for captain black blades lost treasure (Intro)

Chapter 1

“ALLHANDS ON DECK!” shouted the captain.  His men ran around to their stations.  They had spotted a treasure ship heading to the isles of kings.  It was carrying a load of jewels and gold for the great smiths to craft into jewellery for the kings.  The captain would make a fortune off the loot, he had to get it.

The boat span around to be side on with the other ship. ”FIRE!” shouted the captain in his deep voice. In an array of bangs they opened fire on the vessel. “Board the ship”, the captain shouted grabbing his cutlass and prize gold pistol called Ruby.  They placed the boarding planks and swung across to the other boat on a rope. There was no guards on the boat which made the captain feel uneasy.  Usually these boats have a band of guards to protect them from attack. His men came out of the cargo hold with a chest of gold and jewels. The captain stood up but before he could speak a bullet blasted his hat off.  He turned to see where it can from but he saw nobody. “Look up!” shouted the first mate.  There was a whole band of guards in the rigging.

“ATTACK” shouted the captain pulling out Ruby.  The guards jumped down and attacked.  They landed with a scream and the battle began.  They swung their swords and fired their guns.  Both sides took many casualties.  Then the captain saw three gunners in the crow’s nests.  He quickly in a split second span around and shot the first with Ruby. One of the other gunmen turned and shot at the Captain.  The captain dived for cover behind the mast.  The captain saw the other gunman up in the crow’s nest above him.  The captain began to climb up the nest.  When the captain reached the top of the mast he took a deep breath and jumped into the crow’s nest.  He grabbed the unsuspecting gunman’s gun and throw him off the edge.  He turned to face the last gunman and fired.  He hit the last gunman and smiled but the he looked down and saw he was bleeding, the gunman had hit him.  He stepped backwards in shock but he had forgotten he was in the crow’s nest. He fell out of the crow’s nest and as he was falling he saw the guards killing his last man.  He landed with a great thud. One of the guards gave him a kick and decided he was dead.  The captain had broken his legs but wasn’t dead yet. As the other guard were checking the other guards he crawled into the cargo hold.  He saw the gunpowder barrels and thought “If I can’t have the treasure nobody can”. In one more jump he grabbed a torch and landed on the barrels.

Japanese Myth

Thank you for voting in the poll so as I promised I have a Japanese myth for you but not only that I have also found a myth with a dragon!

Most Japanese myths are of a Buddhist tradition.  Japan is famous for its dragons and mythical beasts.

This is a picture of a famous Japanese dragon from Buddhist legend.
This dragon is called Zennyo Ryūō which translates to goodness-like dragon-king.
This dragon supposedly lived in a cave in the MT.Murō.  Zennyo Ryūō is believed to be the God of rain.  During the famous rainmaking contest of 824CE the priest  Kūkai made the dragon appear at the Kyoto Imperial Palace.

This is a very short story but I guess dragons are generally Chinese so maybe it was just there way of giving the rain a face.  I still think that it is cool that they believed that the dragon can be summoned to make it rain.

French Myth

Most French myths are from the Franks.  Franks are originally a tribe of German polytheists.
The Franks enjoyed some of the Greek myths so they make a foundation myth to explain their
connection.

After the fall of Troy 12,000 Trojans led by chiefs Priam and Antenor moved down river to settle in Pannonia near the sea of Azov they founded a city called "Sicranbria".

In the late 4th century they arrived at the River Rhine.

This pretty much is just about the guys after the siege of troy moving to Germany not a great myth if you ask me.  Needs more dragons and wizards.
